Scope of works
(a real chance to build your understanding of permaculture principles and practical skills
- Build 6 (2.4×1.2x.6m) Wicking Beds. Purpose: More water efficient & reduces
time spent watering
- Layout and construct a key-hole Mandala Garden. Purpose: It’s aesthetic and
more efficient in time and energy to work than an equivalent area of lineal
garden AND, Salman wants one!
- Build a 3 Bay Composting System. Purpose: Efficient production of compost for
the gardens from the large amount of organic waste available on site.
Dress comfortably, according to weather requirements: closed shoes, hat, gloves and
sunscreen. Wear eye protection if you are using power tools. Bring Water bottles!

For insurance purposes, you need to be a member of Permaculture Sydney West (PSW). You can join PSW on the day.
Remember, if you have helped on at least three Permablitz’s or are actively involved in some other aspect of PSW you are eligible for a Permablitz at your place.
