Guest Speaker: Rachel Deans
Rachel is the shareholder action campaigner and superannuation fund campaigner at Market Forces. She works with shareholders and super fund members to influence the companies they own to have better environmental policies. Market Forces believe that the banks, superannuation funds, and governments that have custody of our money should use it to protect not damage our environment. Their work exposes the institutions that are financing environmentally destructive projects and helps Australians hold these institutions accountable. They work with the community to prevent investment in projects that would harm the environment and drive global warming.
