- Remove 4 existing raised beds & relocate soil. Make way for new Childrens’ Garden
development & wheelchair access pathway.Prune, fertilise and mulch Food Forest Trees. Mo
- st trees are in their 3rd or 4th year of
growth. Ideal time to get them into good shape for abundant fruiting.Extend cut-stone
- boarder of the Eastern fence-line garden. Defines the edge of garden
& the adjacent open-common requested by Council. Adds interest to the garden
landscape.Spread mound of sandy-loam soil through the olive grove & designated Nat
- ive Edible
Herb & Shrub Garden area. Will raise & define the edge of these gardens from the
adjacent pathways.Mowing & weeding.
- Control overgrowth & provide organic composting material .
Wear: Dress comfortably, according to the weather: closed shoes, hat, gloves and sunscreen.
Bring: Hand tools – shovels, picks, rakes, wheelbarrows, pruners, Power tools – jack-hammer, circular saws, drills, drill bits
And… a little something for a shared morning tea!
