Description

Artichoke ‘Green Globe’ is a large perennial to 180cm by 150cm. Grey-green leaves. Flower buds eaten as vegetable. Also grown as ornamental. Needs rich, well-drained soil. Does not like standing in wet soil and may rot. Artichokes originate from the Mediterranean region and prefer hot, dry summers.
