Description

Basil ‘Greco a Palla’ (literally “Greek ball”) is also known as Basil ‘Fino Verdi’ (literally “fine green” which refers to the size of the leaves). This variety is a compact, mound-forming, annual herb to 45cm, ideal for growing in containers or in the ornamental garden. The leaves have a spicy, sweet aroma and flavour, similar to sweet basil.
This basil may cross-pollinate with other varieties of Ocimum basilicum. If collecting seed, please check the Latin names of basil and allow only one variety to be in flower at any one time.
