Description
Basil ‘Green Ruffles’ is an annual herb to 60cm. The leaves are large, green, with a bumpy surface and ruffled edges. ‘Green Ruffles’ has a delicate flavour with a hint of mint as well as aniseed. Use fresh or dried. The pale-pink flowers attract pollinators and other beneficial insects. This variety can be grown in containers.
This basil may cross-pollinate with other varieties of Ocimum basilicum. If collecting seed, please check the Latin names of basil and allow only one variety to be in flower at any one time.
