Vicia faba
Red, or crimson, flowering broad beans are smaller plants than white flowering broad beans. Pods are also smaller. Beautiful red flowers. May be cooked when young or dried for later use. Slugs and snails love fresh young growth and will climb high to get it. Good idea to buy two packets.
