Brassica oleracea
Broccoli ‘Romanesco’ is an Italian heirloom with spiral-shaped, apple-green heads. Prized in Italy for taste and texture. Can be eaten raw. Protect from aphids and caterpillars. All brassicas are gross feeders, so need a rich, well-drained soil. Feed every 2 weeks with a liquid, organic fertiliser.
