Brassica oleracea
Broccoli ‘Spigariello Liscia’ is a Southern Italian heirloom. Annual plant growing 90-120cm tall. Grown for curled green leaves, not heads. Remove flowering heads as they appear. Cook leaves like spinach. All broccoli are gross feeders and need a rich, well-drained soil. Feed every two weeks with a liquid organic fertiliser.
