Description
Chilli plants are perennial, but most often grown as an annual in Western Sydney.
In a frost free area, they can be left in the ground through winter.
In areas of frost, cover to prevent damage or grow in a pot and bring the pot under cover in a sunny spot for winter.
In the second and subsequent years, the fruit gets progressively smaller.
It is a good idea to wear gloves when handling the seed of chili fruit.
