Chilli ‘Manganji Togarashi’ is a Japanese variety from Kyoto region. Sweet, long, thin-skinned fruit tapers to a point. Soft flesh, no crunch. Matures to red but often eaten green, raw or cooked. Has been likened to playing Russian Roulette: usually mild but every now and then one packs some heat!
