Description

Double Yield’ is an heirloom, bush variety of cucumber, growing to about 30cm tall; ideal for small gardens. It is an exceptionally productive, early maturing variety. The fruit have dark-green skin and white flesh, with a crisp, juicy texture and mild favour. Eat fresh or use in pickles. Best harvested at 10-15cm. Introduced in 1924, it quickly earned its name: for every fruit harvested, two or three more were produced.
