Description

Dill is an annual herb growing up to 90cm tall. It has feathery leaves which are used as an anise (licorice) flavouring or garnish. The flavour pairs well with fish or egg dishes. The small flowers are a yellow-green color. The seeds are used as an aniseed-flavoured spice. It is a traditional spice used with cucumbers to make “dill pickles”. The plants seed freely.
