Description

Ice cream bean tree is a semi-tropical native to South America. It grows up to 8 metres, has attractive white and yellow flowers, and produces fruit in as little as four years. The pulp surrounding the beans tastes similar to vanilla ice-cream. Will fix nitrogen if the correct rhizobia are present in the soil. Good for “chop and drop” mulching
