Description
Lettuce ‘Australian Yellow Leaf’ is an Australian-bred lettuce which performs well in hot conditions. It is a non-heading type, with frilly, yellow-green leaves and a sweet flavour. This variety is rich in Vitamin A and C. Succession sow every three weeks to increase harvest length.
All varieties of lettuce, whether looseleaf, butterhead, cos, Romaine, or iceberg can be easily cross-pollinated with each other. If growing more than one variety for seed, the best strategy is to allow only one variety to be in flower at a time.
