Description
Lettuce ‘Buttercrunch’ is a popular, old-fashioned variety of ‘cut and come again’ lettuce. It has crisp, lime-green, buttery leaves. Excellent choice for baby leaves. This variety has good heat tolerance. Succession sow every three weeks to increase harvest length.
All varieties of lettuce, whether looseleaf, butterhead, cos, Romaine, or iceberg can be easily cross-pollinated with each other. If growing more than one variety for seed, the best strategy is to allow only one variety to be in flower at a time.
