Description
Lettuce ‘Croatian’ is a “hearty lettuce that grows very big and seems to tolerate quite tough conditions. It’s a great keeper – doesn’t wilt easily.” The leaves are dark green to golden brown. Succession sow every three weeks to increase harvest length.
All varieties of lettuce, whether looseleaf, butterhead, cos, Romaine, or iceberg can be easily cross-pollinated with each other. If growing more than one variety for seed, the best strategy is to allow only one variety to be in flower at a time.
