Description
Lettuce ‘Green Mignonette’ is a popular variety of buttercrunch-style, open-hearted lettuce. The mid-green leaves are soft and curly, and need protection from hot afternoon sun in warm weather. Succession sow every three weeks to increase harvest length.
All varieties of lettuce, whether looseleaf, butterhead, cos, Romaine, or iceberg can be easily cross-pollinated with each other. If growing more than one variety for seed, the best strategy is to allow only one variety to be in flower at a time.
