Description
Livingstone Daisies are colourful, semi-succulent annuals that put on a dazzling display in Spring. They are low growing, reaching a height of about 10cm. The plants must be grown in full sun or the flowers won’t open. Flowers close in the evening and in cloudy weather. Succession sow for blooms over a longer period. Deadhead to prolong flowering. Do not overwater. The plants are also known as ‘ice daisies’ due to the tiny jewel-like bladder cells on stems and leaves.
