Sweet Marjoram is a perennial, culinary herb often grown as an annual. It spreads over a wide area and can become straggly. It makes a good groundcover if pruned to check its sprawling habit. Leaves have a sweet smell, similar to oregano but milder. Leaves can be used fresh or dried. The white flowers attract pollinators.
