Description

Peppermint’ is a creeping perennial to 50cm which spreads by runners. It has a strong and spicy mint flavour, much more intense than common mint. It can be eaten raw or cooked, and is used in desserts, drinks, salads, sauces or teas. The leaves are used medicinally in many cultures. Mint can be invasive so consider growing it in a large container.
