Annual, trailing nasturtium with scarlet-red flowers. Can be grown as a groundcover, or climber. Flowers attract beneficial insects. Flower colour may vary. Flowers and young leaves are edible, with peppery taste. Use fresh. Immature seed heads can be used as ‘poor man’s capers’.
