Description
Pea ‘Golden Podded’ is an heirloom found in a market in India. Grows to 2 metres, needs support. Eat young yellow pods fresh or stir-fried. The flavour is sweet and slightly nutty. It is a very ornamental plant. Pick often to prolong harvest.
If growing for seed collection, leave some pods on the plant until the plant has died off. The pods should be dry, brown in colour and the peas inside should rattle.
