Description

Pumpkin ‘Golden Nugget’ is a bush variety producing fruit about 1kg. Flattened orange fruit can be stored for 6-8 months. The flavour is sweet and nutty. ‘Golden Nugget’ is good to roast, stuff or use in soups.
This variety of pumpkin will cross-pollinate with any other variety of Cucurbita maxima but not with pumpkins of the species C. pepo or C. moschata. If you are collecting seeds and concerned about cross-pollination, please refer to the Latin name of squash, pumpkin and/or zucchini plants before growing.
