Description

Pumpkin ‘Gramma’ is an annual vine with grey-green, long fruit to 60cm, like an elongated butternut. It has a sweet, nutty flavour. ‘Gramma’ is a good variety for roasting, pumpkin scones and for ‘gramma’ (pumpkin) pie.
This variety of pumpkin will cross-pollinate with any other variety of Cucurbita moschata, including some squash and zucchini, but not with pumpkins of the species C. pepo or C. maxima. If you are collecting seeds and concerned about cross-pollination, please refer to the Latin name of squash, pumpkin and/or zucchini plants before growing.
