Description

Purslane is a low, upright annual herb that grows to about 30cm and does not need support. It has crisp, juicy green leaves with a mild sweet‑and‑sour flavour. The leaves can be eaten raw or cooked and are often added to salads, soups, stews, and sandwiches. This herb is very nutritious and can also act as a natural thickener in soups and stews.
Protect young seedlings from aphids and damping‑off.
