Description

Rockmelon ‘Bateekh Samara’ is an heirloom from Iraq. Plants are very productive with 6 – 10 melons per vine. Can be grown on a trellis. The fruit is oblong in shape, with green-grey, slightly netted skin, and pale green flesh. As it matures, the skin becomes more yellow. The flavour is sweet and unique; reminiscent of lime and cucumber. It is ripe when the fruit comes away easily from the vine stem.
