Description
Winter Savory is a frost-hardy, perennial herb to 50cm. The scent is citrusy and the taste is peppery. Winter Savory goes well with meats, cabbage, beans and peas. Like most herbs, Winter Savory attracts pollinators when in flower. Winter Savory is traditionally used, internally and externally, as a medicinal herb. As with other Mediterranean herbs, Winter Savory prefers full sun, free-draining soil, and does well in dry summers. Seeds can be slow to germinate.
