Description

Green sorrel is a perennial herb, also known as garden sorrel. It forms a rosette of leaves, increasing slowly in diameter. Long stems bear tiny flowers in spring. The leaves have a slightly bitter, citrus tang. Use as a leaf vegetable: steam, stews, soups, or smoothies. Provides Vitamin C and copper.
