Squash ‘Table Gem’ is an heirloom. frost tender annual bush variety. First introduced in 1913. Acorn shaped fruit with green skin and orange flesh. Sweet. Bake, stuff or steam.
This variety of squash will cross-pollinate with any other variety of Cucurbita pepo which includes some squash, some zucchini and some pumpkins. If you are collecting seeds and concerned about cross-pollination, please refer to the Latin name of squash, pumpkin and/or zucchini plants before growing.
