Description

Tomato ‘Gold Nugget’ is a determinate (bush) variety to 60cm–90cm tall, which may need support. It can be grown in containers. This is an early-maturing variety, producing fruit in as little as 60–70 days. The fruit is cocktail sized, orange-yellow, and sweet. This is a prolific producer; all the fruit matures in a short period of time, making it ideal for drying, bottling whole or making preserves. Succession sow to extend the harvest season.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
