Description

Tomato ‘Red Cloud’ is an heirloom climbing (indeterminate) variety that needs support. This variety has good yields of red, cloud-shaped (beefsteak) fruit 4cm–7cm in diameter. Fruits have rich flavour, with a good balance between sweetness and acidity. Good variety for bottling, sauces or freezing. Frozen tomatoes will be suitable only for cooking purposes.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
