Description

Tomato ‘Riesentraube’ is a German heirloom, grape-style tomato. It is an indeterminate (climbing) vine and will need support. ‘Riesentraube’ is a very prolific variety of grape-shaped fruit with a small point (or nipple) on the blossom end. The fruit is small, red and richly flavoured. These tomatoes are great for drying.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
