Description

Tomato ‘Rouge de Marmande’ is a French heirloom, indeterminate (climbing) vine to 1.5 metres that will need support. The fruits are flattened, ribbed, beefsteak fruit up to 10cm in diameter, and weigh between 120g and 180g. Good all-purpose variety with meaty texture and rich flavour.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
