Description

Yarrow, or Achillea, is a hardy perennial plant, to 60cm. Yarrow plants tend to sprawl; growing them in containers will keep them under control. These plants are tolerant of drought, frost and poor soil. Clusters of white flowers, held above the foliage, attract pollinators and other beneficial insects. Flowers may flop if the soil is too rich, or if the plant does not get enough sun, which causes weak stems. Medicinal herb, used externally to help stop bleeding.
