Cabbage ‘San Michel’ is an old Italian heirloom. Crinkled, savoy cabbage with large heads of sweet, thin leaves with red blush. Excellent flavour. Late variety. All cabbages are gross feeders so they need a rich, well-drained soil. Feed every two weeks with liquid organic fertiliser. Protect from slugs, snails, aphids, cabbage moth and white cabbage butterfly.
