Description

Carnations are perennial plants but can get scruffy. They look best if supported. Good for borders, rockeries, or containers. Popular cut flower. When the plant has six leaf nodes, pinch out the growing tip for thicker stems and bushier plants. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering season. Succession sow every two to three weeks for even more blooms.Cut back healthy plants yearly. Remove diseased or dying plants.
