Description

Kale ‘Tronchuda’ is a Portuguese heirloom leaf perennial vegetable but usually grown as an annual. Large green leaves with white stems and veins. Cook as cabbage; traditionally used in soups, especially ‘caldo verde’. Young leaves can be eaten fresh. Also called Couve ‘Tronchuda’, Portuguese cabbage or Portuguese kale
