Description

Sunflower ‘Teddy Bear’ is a fast-growing annual plant growing to 45 cm. The flowers are fluffy “doubles” that look like yellow pom poms. ‘Teddy Bear’ is reasonably drought tolerant. Due to its compact height and fluffy texture, this is a great variety for children and for sensory gardens.
All sunflowers attract birds and beneficial insects to the garden. If growing for seed, protect the flower heads from birds after pollination has been completed; that is, when bees stop visiting the plants.
