Description

Tomato ‘Black Cherry’ is an indeterminate (climbing) vine to 2 metres, which needs support. The vine bears large clusters of fruit which ripen to a dark-purple or mahogany colour with green shoulders. The flavour is rich: smoky and sweet.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
