Description

Tomato ‘Floralou’ is a semi-determinate variety up to 1.8 metres; will need support. The large, red fruits grow up to 12cm in diameter. The flesh is firm, meaty and juicy with a sweet flavour. The fruit can be eaten raw or cooked, or made into sauces or preserves. This is a hardy, crack-resistant variety.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
