Wax Gourd, also known as Ash Gourd, is a fast-growing vine, needs a strong trellis. Large fruits to 20 kg have semi-sweet, white flesh. Use in soups, steamed or stir fried. All parts of the plant are edible. Used medicinally in Asia. Waxy coating means it stores for a long time. If Wax Gourd is out of stock, look for Ash Gourd.
