Radish ‘Spanish Round Black’, also known as ‘Nero Tonda’, is an heirloom variety from the 1500s. The round roots grow to about 10cm in diameter. They have black skin and crisp, white interiors. The flavour is hot, peppery and earthy. The variety stores well.
Radishes require consistent moisture to grow well.
