Description
Summer Savory is an annual herb to 40cm tall. It is a bushy plant with thin, greyish-green, aromatic leaves which have a peppery flavour. The leaves are used as flavouring or in potpourri. There is a suggestion that the leaves, when sprinkled on food, enhance the flavour and reduce the need for salt. The edible flowers, which have a peppery taste, attract pollinators.
