Stock ‘Giant Column’ is a sweet-smelling annual plant growing to 75 cm. It is great for cottage gardens, cut flowers and for attracting beneficial insects to the garden. Dead-head regularly to keep flowers coming. Stock is a cool-weather crop, sown in autumn for spring flowering. Stock attracts aphids and can be susceptible to powdery mildew. Water the soil, not the plants, and don’t be tempted to overcrowd them.
