Description
Tomato ‘Orange Accordion’ is a vigorous indeterminate (climbing) vine that will need strong support. It produces large, deeply-ribbed, orange beefsteak fruit that often reach 500g to 1kg. The flesh is meaty, juicy, and sweet, making it excellent for stuffing, slicing, and fresh eating. The fruit have a striking pleated shape that looks like an accordion, and regular picking will help keep the plant producing through the season. .
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee, going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
