Description

Tomato ‘Orange Cherry’ is an indeterminate (climbing) variety and will need support. The orange fruit, which is slightly elongated, grows to about 3cm in diameter. This variety is resistant to splitting. ‘Orange Cherry’ tomatoes have a great taste and a fruity flavour; excellent for salads or roasting. The antioxidants are said to be easier to absorb than in red varieties.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
