Description

Tomato ‘Pederson’s Beefsteak’ is an heirloom variety. It is an indeterminate (climbing) vine which needs support. The fruit is large and ribbed, growing up to 400g, making it a good variety for slicing. This variety has excellent flavour.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
