Description

Tomato ‘Pineapple’ is an heirloom variety named for colour and size, not taste. It is a highly productive, indeterminate (climbing) vine which will need support. This variety has large, sweet, golden-yellow fruit with red streaks, up to 12cm in diameter.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
