Basil ‘Mrihani’ is an African heirloom from Zanzibar. Annual herb to 60cm tall. Sweet anise/liquorice aroma. The green leaves have purple highlights and wavy, toothed margins. Purple flowers attract beneficial insects. If flowering commences earlier than desired, cut off the flower spikes.
